Who we are

Kramo (क्रम) is a voice and tap business management system, offered by our registered entity. These terms govern your use of the Kramo app and related services. By creating an account or using Kramo, you agree to them.

The service

Kramo lets you record sales, purchases, and stock movements by speaking, tapping, or photographing a bill or delivery challan, and turns those into ledger entries, inventory updates, and GST-ready bills.

Kramo is a business management tool. It is not accounting, legal, or tax advice, and using it does not substitute for a chartered accountant or tax professional where one is needed. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your filings and the decisions you make with the numbers Kramo produces.

Acceptable use

Use Kramo for your own business's bookkeeping and inventory. Don't use it to store or transmit unlawful content, don't try to access another business's account or data, and don't attempt to circumvent the encryption that protects private records, for yourself or anyone else. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

Subscription and billing

Kramo is offered on monthly subscription plans starting at ₹1,499 per month; current plans and prices are shown at kramo.in/pricing. Pilot participants (currently Darukhana, Mumbai) may be on separate pilot terms agreed directly with our team, which take precedence over this section for the duration of the pilot. Billing, invoicing, and cancellation details for your account will be confirmed in writing when you subscribe.

Data and your recovery key

Records you choose to keep private are end-to-end encrypted on your device. Our servers only ever hold ciphertext, so we cannot read those records day-to-day: not for support, not for a legal request. Access depends on a recovery key, and at setup you choose how that key is kept.

Solo custody. You hold the only copy of your recovery key and Kramo holds nothing. If you lose that copy and lose access to your device, the private data tied to it is permanently unrecoverable. There is no backdoor for us to use, because we never held the key. This is a deliberate consequence of the encryption guarantee, not a defect. Guard your key accordingly.

Witnessed custody. You can instead opt in to witnessed custody, recommended if this is your first smartphone, in which a Kramo field agent safeguards a sealed, tamper-evident paper copy of your key under a logged chain of custody. We still cannot read your private records: the envelope is physical paper, not a key on our servers, and it is opened only through a documented, in-person recovery in your presence. If you later lose your own copy, that recovery is possible only while an envelope is on file for you.

Records used to generate GST invoices and reports are not subject to this limitation; they are stored on our servers in the ordinary course of providing the service, per our Privacy policy.

Availability and offline sync

Kramo is built to keep working when your connection doesn't: entries you record offline queue on your device and sync once you're back online. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for delays or losses caused by network outages, device failure, or events outside our reasonable control.

Liability limits

Kramo is provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, except where such loss arises from our gross negligence or wilful default.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product and the pilot evolve. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
